Modular: an amazing crypto event organized by Ripio

The first edition of “Modular”, a crypto and business summit organized by the crypto company Ripio, was held at the Usina del Arte in Buenos Aires in June 22. Over 1.000 participants attended the event: partners, startups, regulators, financial institutions and leaders of several industries.
The event was divided in two parts. On one side, a 3-day Hackathon was organized at Ripio offices on June 17, 18 and 19 for the development of the local ecosystem with different teams having the opportunity to present their talents and projects to a panel of judges.
On the other side, the main event took place at the Usina del Arte with talks, workshops and panels: 21 talks with 76 guest speakers who developed the most relevant topics of the industry, exploring the potential of blockchain technology: B2B services, blockchain new trends to boost businesses, Web3 and AI; stablecoins adoption and crypto regulation in LatAm,, etc. Our partner, Diego Nunes, joined the event and talked with developers and relevant crypto leaders throughout the journey.
One of the most relevant topics was addressed by the regulation panel where different representatives from regulatory agencies of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay shared insights and debated over the next steps in this field, making a comparison between them and connecting opinions to improve the market situation.
